You are obviously well educated and read, so your perception of the connotation of "Incredi" might well be different than a lot of people's. If diabetics or the elderly are one demographic wouldn't it make sense to have a name that is easy to remember? For example, 'Fred, I just got these socks that make my feet feel incredible it has helped my neuropathy 75%.' 'Really what,are they called?' 'Incredi something, not sure of the full name.' Easy cheesy, what more. Same with athletes, do they really care what the name is, as long as they are incredible?
