Trade-off hand, no. I think Tomasso primarily arranges CD placements, and then uses S-8 shares to hire the shills as opposed to running his own sites.I never received a spam or fax, and god knows I'm on the lists.

CMKX was an unusual promotion in that it relied heavily on the use of interactive sites such as Pal Talk, and affinity scams such as the Christian Traders/Green Baron to recruit and retain cult members. Those members were in turn encouraged to recruit additional shareholders from their circle of friends and family.

All in all it was a combination of Scientology and Amway.
