Allied Motion Technologies Inc. (Allied Motion) is engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing and selling motor, servo motion and optical encoder products to customers worldwide. The Company's products are manufactured at its facilities, as well as contract manufacturing facilities in the People’s Republic of China and Eastern Europe. Allied Motion utilizes its electro-magnetic, mechanical and electronic motion technologies know how to provide products as solutions to a range of motion applications. The Company has four subsidiaries Emoteq Corporation (Emoteq), Motor Products Corporation (Motor Products), Stature Electric, Inc. (Stature) and Precision Motor Technology B.V. (Premotec). In June 2010, the Company acquired Agile Systems Inc. In December 2010, the Company acquired Ostergrens Elmotor AB.
