Alexander’s, Inc. (Alexander’s) is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is engaged in leasing, managing, developing and redeveloping its properties. The Company is managed by, and its properties are leased and developed by, Vornado Realty Trust (Vornado). As of December 31, 2010, the Company’s properties include 731 Lexington Avenue, Kings Plaza Regional Shopping Center, Rego Park I Shopping Center, Rego Park II, Paramus and Flushing Properties. Rego Park III is under development. The Company owns approximately 3.4 acres of land adjacent to its Rego Park II property in Queens, New York. The property is consists of a one quarter square block and is located at the intersection of Junction Boulevard and the Horace Harding Service Road. In January 2011, the Company leased 50,000 square feet at its Rego Park I Shopping Center to Burlington Coat Factory.
