My trading vehicle of choice.
I trade the e mini futures exclusively these days. I trade
the intraday 5 minute , the 90 minute, and daily charts. They open on Sunday night 6pm eastern ,and close Friday afternoon 4:15pm eastern. They close for maintenance at 4:15 pm each day and reopen at 4:30pm eastern , with a second reset from 5:30 to 6:00 pm eastern weekdays.
I moved away from stocks many years ago , as they were just too manipulated by analysts with up and down grades , earnings, etc. Index Futures are commodities , and being such the rules of stock trading do not apply. At the end of the year you also have a one page statement for tax purposes , profit and loss. Makes it real simple.
