Thinking of doing a Survivor-like game for CXN where we guess the close every Friday and the worst guess is eliminated.
Purpose - to make the board a bit more interesting.
Anyone interested?
Guesses will be accepted Fridays after close until Monday mornings at open. Any current participant still in who doesn't submit a guess will automatically have his prior guess re-submitted.
Today is Wednesday. I'll accept entries for THIS Friday's close and participation in the game in general before tomorrow's open.
Additional rules (to be altered without notice to update the game to be as fair as possible as I see fit):
1) Last trade before or equal to 4:00:59 EST on each Friday will be the deciding trade.
2) Out-of-sequence prints will be eliminated (example - if CXN is trading at $1.00 30 seconds before close then a trade for $1.50 or 50 cents is printed it will be considered an erratic trade and the previous trade will be used instead)
3) Painted trades will be considered valid (as there's no way to verify for sure if one is or not)
4) Guess that is furthest from the close will lose. In the case of a tie, whoever underguessed the close will break the tie (i.e. - if it closes at 1.00 the 90 cent guess will beat the 1.10 guess, keeping in tradition with similar contests)
5) Only one guess per price. First guess, regardless of board, will qualify. If due to multiple boards with the same time stamped on the post and the first entry is unable to be determined, the name of the server (Yahoo, Ragingbull, etc.) will have priority in reverse alphabetical order. (guess on the Yahoo board at 1:17 has priority over the RB board at 1:17)
6) Once you are eliminated from the game, any further guesses may be submitted for fun and noted but will not qualify for the game.
7) As for as I and the game is concerned, no entries should be considered a "bash" or a "pump" and by participating you agree it is your honest attempt to win the game with a GUESS and not manipulate, influence, advise, or recommend in any way, shape, or form that others should listen to your entry regarding CXN as an investment.
