While Nokia may owe IDCC some $60 Million for their past 3G Infrastructure sales..Is not IDCC's Bill merely comparable to the sales tax portion, when compared to Nokia's entire Qualcomm Bill? If one can afford a $10 Million Home, why dispute a $200,000 Pool and cabana bill?

Maybe Jorma can feel Bill M's grip tightening around more than "just" what Nokia owes IDCC for 2G TDMA/GSM. Based on what we have been told so far, Nokia owes something like $250 million for "just" the GSM stuff they have sold/will sell before 2007.

What about all of those 3G base stations Nokia has been selling? The "true up" payments that Nokia has to be looking at before bringing their 3G license agreement with IDCC "current" could be ANOTHER big number for old Jorma to swallow.

Hey Jorma! From where this interested observer is sitting, it sure looks like BOTH of those numbers are only going to get BIGGER. Remember that old ad about transmission repair? Seems like it went something like "You can pay me now, or you will end up paying me a lot more later." Tic, toc....
