We need more transparency. We deserve it.

his compensation (commons and directly) are contingent upon the success of NEWCO

Not true. He'll get paid simply for sitting on the BOD, regardless of the the health of the company. (Keep in mind that everybody on the BOD right now is getting paid, despite being in bankruptcy.) Additionally, MW will take a cut of any litigation/liquidation proceeds, regardless of whether or not those proceeds reach equity. On a similar note, he is also being paid for serving as EC Chair, and if the pay scale for doing so is similar to that of Pilgrim's Pride, MW has already made well over the initial $200,000 he invested in commons, and he stands to make a lot more, regardless of how equity fares beyond BK.

If we see that MW is allowing Kosturos to "gift" the farm...then we can respond collectively and appropriately.

Not true. Releases prevent that from happening.

Count me in the camp that is having second questions about this settlement. The jury is still out on MW, but I think proceeding with caution is certainly warranted, and I don't have any problem with shareholders demanding more information. As it stands now, the company is clearly going into runoff and will be nothing more than a corporate shell. So unless we have a potential suitor in the wings or have one emerge shortly after exiting BK, we run the risk of getting nothing. I, for one, am not happy with that possibility, particularly when we would have likely gotten billions from pursuing IT.
