Now we are on the same page! Sure looks like Nokia has just about played it's nasty hand out,...AND that they have painted themselves into a very dangerous corner. Take all that you said in the ref post, and add this consideration;

Does Nokia really want to give IDCC's trial lawyers a chance to lay out the whole story of their behavior toward little IDCC since signing a contract with them back in 1999?

I'm not a properly trained litigator, but there is no doubt in this old retired peddler's mind that even he could have Nokia's goose fully cooked within a rip snorting hour or so of telling that story.

Give me an American jury to "persuade", and this old pitch man would be disappointed if the bailiff did not have his hands full restraining those angry folks from raging out of the jury box to go snake hunting after the summary. No telling what a couple of the F&J professionals might be able to do if they get a shot at telling that same story in a court of law some day.

Really do not see how Nokia would let that happen...but if they do, I want a ring side seat!
