Cls and Bulldzr .. I have a favor to ask of you and others that click on "New Post" instead of "Respond" when responding to a post, particularly by someone I have on ignore.

For some bizarre reason which I will never understand some posters want to be a party to Once's mind games and to continue to provide him with the audience he needs in order to exist on this board. But, as I've said before to each his own and if that is what you want to do, enjoy. Heretofore, the only way I could get Once totally out of my life was to put him and everyone that responded to him on ignore but that meant I would lose all other post those posters made. I like you guys way too much to put you on ignore so I had a real dilemma on my hands.

Then last weekend Bob and Matt made the ignore function available to everyone, not just Premium Members, and added the additional capability of filtering out all responses to ignored posters. Now I can still see all of the posts they make that aren't responses to Once. That means that everyone who wants Once out of their lives completely without giving anything up should be happy, Once should be happy, everyone that wants to communicate with Once for whatever reason should be happy and Bob and Matt are happy because they have not violated their value system which includes not excluding anyone from posting as long as they play by the rules. Now who ever would have predicted that someone could accomplish that and in one day too boot?

For three wonderful days my life was bliss and I had convinced myself that Once didn't even exist. Then two of my "buds" decided to respond to Once last night using the "New Post" button instead of the "Respond" button. Now he was back in my life again. So how about using the "New Post" button only when you are not responding to a post and using the "Respond" button all other times. It has the additional benefit of having the reader know who you are responding to, as well as providing easy access to the text of the message to which you are responding. Pretty please?

Regards,

Danny
