DALLAS, TX, Jul 07, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Immediatek, Inc. (ITEK) announced today that its DiscLive unit, the pioneer in recording live events and making large numbers of CDs available immediately after concerts, will be capturing The FIXX's performance at the Taste of Dallas on July 10th, 2005. DiscLive will be releasing a limited edition, numbered double-disc set of The FIXX, which will be available right after their performance and also available to purchase online at www.disclive.com.

England's The FIXX is one of the most innovative and unique bands to come out of the MTV-era. The group's lyrics and melodies are artistic statements of both darkness and light; aural soundscapes that are cerebral yet able to touch the heart. The FIXX's themes are complex, oft-times introspective and thought provoking, and yet their musical legacy has appealed to the masses with three #1, five Top 5, a dozen Top 10 hits, countless soldout tours and millions of albums sold worldwide.

The signature sound of The FIXX is instantly recognizable; songs like "One Thing Leads To Another" and "Saved By Zero" remain staples not just with '80s radio stations, but on modern rock formats that have helped break such new wave-inspired acts as Franz Ferdinand and The Killers. The FIXX, with its original lineup of lead vocalist Cy Curnin, Jamie West-Oram on lead guitar, Rupert Greenall on keyboards and drummer Adam Woods still intact, hooked up with respected bass guitarist Gary Tibbs (Adam & The Ants, Roxy Music) at the end of 2001, rounding out the band's current incarnation.

The group takes the stage in Dallas' historic West End at 6:30 p.m. on the 10th. CD sets will be available within 5-10 minutes after the band's performance; fans are encouraged to pre-order their collectible CD at www.disclive.com before the edition sells out.
