Does this affect the awards? Delay the signings? We can speculate but the blocks were awarded to a consortium of companies and if that consortium no longer exists the whole thing could fall apart. I doubt that ERHC has the financial resources to pick up any additional interest. I don't know if PXD wants the additional risk. These competing companies often partner to reduce risk. I don't see this as being good. It just upsets the apple cart and causes more uncertainty. Uncertainty in NEVER good in the stock market.
