I have Comcast and in my area they are burying all of their lines. I watched them do my house and the cable is down at least 12 inches.
FP&L is also in the process of burying all of their lines as well. This should make a HUGE difference when a hurricane blows by our area. The amount of money it's costing both companies to bury their lines will be easily recovered when a storm goes through because they won't have to pay all that extra help they need to repair downed overhead cable and power lines. The amount of overtime pay that they have had to dish out to all the engineers that have to repair the downed lines will be slashed drastically. For many people they won't even lose power when a big storm hit's our area. And for those people that live in unincorporated areas it will mean that power crews will be able to get to them faster because most of their other customers won't be affected at all.
"Sort of" is harmless "Sort of". Is a filler. But sometimes, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
