Your right,we certainly need the rain here in southeast Texas, but I would like for it to hold off just long enough to finish the barbeque on the Fourth.

You are also right about the gravel roads in my precinct. I've been getting a lot of complaints (dust, washboard, etc.). I certainly won't put my new CAT 12H motorgrader on them and tear something up. Having my crew trying to blade and maintain these rock hard surfaces is tough.

I tell my constituents to pray for rain to soften things up, while we continue to work on overdue drainage projects. Go figure. LOL
