Share Structure Update

I've updated the iBox to reflect the new share structure. It appears 50K shares were added to the O/S and 50K shares subtracted from the options, so I guess we know where those came from. Outstanding warrants decreased from 49,845,895 to 40,421,290 (9,424,605 fewer shares) with the expiration of the October 2011 $1.54 warrants. That's a decrease of 3.3% in the fully diluted shares, which is pretty significant, imo.

Has anyone noticed gold is $100/oz higher than it was seven days ago? I hope to see it stay above $1700/oz.

I'm surprised no one's chatting about the PDI presentation. Probably because there's not much to chat about. :/

The presentation talks a lot about infrastructure investment in Panama, but doesn't go the extra mile to explain how our mining equipment and crushing capacity is going to make much of a difference. Granted, we'll get a piece of the pie, there's no doubt about that, but talk of housing, food service, telecommunications, and electricity generation/transmission is moot unless PDI plans on hiring/expanding/acquiring the equipment/experience/personnel necessary to tackle those tasks.

Overall, my opinion of the PDI presentation is that it's fluff. It talks a lot about what's going on, but doesn't provide any particulars on the part PDI will play in the overall process. It provides a nice diagram of Panamanian gov't organization, but ignores the most important aspects of the spin-off - income forecasts, business model, spin-off record date, etc.

And what's this sentence mean? "Petaquilla Minerals Ltd. (“PTQ”) intends to distribute to its shareholders one share of PDI for each four shares of PTQ held on the record date for the distribution and, subsequently, a reverse stock split." A reverse split of PTQ shares, PDI shares? What's the point of doing so?

My take on the presentation overall - PDI has always been, and continues to be gravy. Gravy that apparently gets delayed repeatedly over a period of years. :p
