It makes sense if you assume the company is finished. Sydney is guilty of a whole lot of felonies if he issued all that PR while knowing that he never intended to start a coal company. However, he is not guilty of anything if he just made some bad business deals and announced those. If you believe none28, Sydney is a victim and not a fraudster. I put my money on either Sydney, Betty Ann or Spiros playing the part of Ed Killen by none28. They are trying to stop a parade of mail from investors begging them to investigate GLER.

These cats have got to know that the SEC will eventually investigate if they keep getting letters from investors.
