Oilman, I will assume it was pointed at me, which is OK. I have one question, then I suggest we both lay-off the issue:

If a shareholder calling the company they own to ask questions is harassing, what is the purpose of having an IR department?

What is John Coleman's job? Seriously, please tell me what he does on an average day? Is he involved in any way in the JV's? Is he involved in any way in the JOA's? Is he involved in any way in the PSC's? Is he securing financing for the company? Is interpreting seismic or bidding on properties?

I don't think he does any of that. I think he is the company's IR person. Do you know what that stands for - Investor Relations. If answering questions from investors is not part of his job, please tell me what is?

I'll tell you what he is not doing:

1) attending industry trade shows and conferences
2) speaking about ERHC to financial analysts
3) marketing the company through mainstream media
4) mastering a web site that is respectible
5) answering phone calls from concerned investors
6) answering phone calls from prospective investors
7) responding to email submitted on the company web site
8) securing domain names for the company's new business name

I have very little knowledge of exactly what most IR persons do from day-to-day, but the above I can list off the top of my head as their most basic responsibilities. And, the don't live up to any of these.

Am I all worked up about the share price? No, I am not. As I posted here all day, I am long on ERHC and this will pass. However, when times are tough, it sure is nice to hear some words of encouragement from those who CAN give them.

What is that you ask? I don't know for sure, but more than a 2 sentence PR about the most significant event in our company history, and it is definately more than being called an asshole and hung up on.

If you can answer the above questions, honestly and intelligent, my hat is off to you...
