Packers - In a way yes and in a way maybe it will actually work out for the better. One problem EDIG seems to always have is they start hypeing and seemingly focus on the next great thing without ever finishing work on the great thing they had set out to conquer in the first place. They now seem so hell bent on video, just like everybody else, that they seem to have forgotten they never finished their initiatives with MP3 players. Maybe they'll look at all these big companies going all out to be the video king and finally decide they ain't big enough or quick enough to gain market share and go back and finally concentrate on one item at a time. The MP3 player market still has a long way to go, if all we hear about competitors products is all true and our player is actually as good as it sounds like ( and it isn't a bunch of screw ups that are holding it back), then we may actually have THE best HD player out there, period. If that is the case then we have a realistic chance of 1 million unit sales combined with us, Digitalway and some other OEM. If we can average between our sales (e-tail and limited retail) and theirs $15-$20 a unit profit, thats $15-$20 million. This is one thing I could never understand, why haven't we just focused and put all the energy and money into the O-1000 and made it happen months ago, right now we would have been wondering more about just how much we did make last quarter on it's sales rather than praying for a miracle PR tommorrow. Hopefully they'll just stop trying to be everything and just concentrate being really, really good at one thing at a time.
