SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - 06/27/11) - Skye Petroleum, Inc. (Pinksheets:SKPO - News) (the "Company" or "Skye") is pleased to announce the establishment of its Dallas and North Houston sales offices for its paraffin inhibitor technology. Also, as inquiries into Skye's proprietary technology have increased on an international scale, the Company has streamlined the process to serve these markets. Skye's ability to suspend paraffin at the formation level and significantly stimulate well production with its pro-active chemical treatment process has garnered attention worldwide.

"We are seeing significant momentum developing in all phases of the business, worldwide and in Pennsylvania. The interest from large oil companies in Pennsylvania has dramatically increased as we have become established there. Paraffin is a major problem in Pennsylvania, along with many parts of the world and we believe we have an answer for it. We are also realizing significant strides in the lab with our chemistry and intend to disclose more details of that very soon," Brad Knollenberg, Skye's CEO, stated.

Skye has received indications of interest from Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Japan, Indonesia, Venezuela, Egypt, Vietnam, Yemen, Brunei, North America, including the Lower 48 states, Alaska and Canada, to date. An unsolicited article in "Oil, Gas and Petrochem Equipment" magazine (May issue) drew attention to Skye's well treatment process. The Company anticipates further exposure from Business Day Television, hosted by Terry Bradshaw, later this year when a program featuring Skye is scheduled to air on both national and regional networks.

The Company's international marketing initiative is being overseen by Gerald Weber, Skye's Chief Development Officer, in collaboration with TR International, Inc., a 31 year old private company, with offices situated around the world.

Rick Allison has joined Skye as its Vice President of Development and will be based in the Dallas office. Rick served as President of Bennett Ross, a subsidiary of Weber Energy, that developed a gas to liquids proprietary technology, known as Synfuels International.
