Semper, you're on the mark with your comments, but I think we need to take a step back and remember that the key word in your statement is "IF":

"If Medizone gets positive results, it will be 'get on board or get left behind' for the BB/cockroach industry IMO."

Ed said right at the beginning that it's not at all sure that AsepticSure will eradicate bed bugs. Much of the excitement here on the board (which I share, by the way), is really a mite premature, since we don't know yet if it works at all.

While it's fun to fantasize, there's a risk that if we dream excessively of the huge market and the attendant publicity that will almost surely follow IF it is effective, we may be setting ourselves up for a major letdown (and fall in price) IF it doesn't work. We shouldn't forget that the bed bug idea was an afterthought, and even if it doesn't work, the main market has always been hospitals, plus food processing, cleanrooms, etc., where the efficacy against pathogens has been proven.`

Another reason IMO why we should keep things in perspective: There may be new eyes that are seeing the recent enthusiasm about this particular application, and if it doesn't prove effective, they'll be angry at the tone of the board, that tends to get carried away a little by the rosy fantasies that are anticipated.

I think we should wait a little more, at least until we have an indication that bed bugs are a legitimate target. Otherwise it may come back to bite us (pun intended).
