people in my experience give too much credit to nasdaq, amex, and nyse issues and not enough credit to good otc pinksheet stocks.

I believe the issue has to do with capitalization and not with anything else - possibly also how willing they are to work with regulators... SEC filings are expensive and time consuming - and full of loop of holes.
