When you hold something for a short period it is trading, investing is long term. It is not really splitting hairs it is a pretty standard thing. Where the line is between trading and investing is somewhat murky. If you are investing you are interested in making money due to the company growing and being a success. If you are trading all you want is someone to come along and buy your stock at your wanted price as soon as possible.
In a stock like this if you invest you will just lose all your money to insiders, financiers and traders as it has no long term future.
