I also want to give a post of support for EHP/tryoty.

While I do agree with many of the points that ssc has made with regard to oil = good, no oil = bad, and I do also agree that there wasn't much that management could do about that ...

...I do feel that management did lead us to believe that other things were in play. Now granted, I doubt many believed that those things would come to real fruition, and that it was all probably a ruse, and the real reason everyone invested had to do with the JDZ/EEZ assets...

...I have to ask myself, "why does management continue doing these presentations at oil and gas conferences while using some of ERHC's precious remaining cash, cash, which will be required to sustain a drawn out negotiation by SNP?"

I'm not asking for ERHC management to have "care" for its shareholders, but at least, why doesn't it exercise some restraint on this spending so it's not such a slap in the face to the minority shareholders?

Or at the very least, why doesn't ERHC point to the value of these conferences for ERHC? At least justify it, somehow?

You can argue that management has no control over whether there is oil in the JDZ and it has no control over other growth initiatives until it does show oil in the JDZ, but how does one argue that management has no control over its spending on what appears to many of us as nothing more than a junket for management?

It's really depressing. And I can only imagine how it must feel for EHP/tryoty, who, yes has taken a big gamble on ERHC, but is backed into a corner with no job, and an ever-growing jobless gap on his resume, which only serves to hurt him as he waits on ERHC.

While I haven't always seen eye to eye with him, I do feel for him.
