I just called IR, spoke first with George, then with Tom Cook.

George quoted the share structure as:
AS: 529m
OS: 500m
float: little over 200m

Tom quoted the float as 500m, and didn't know the OS off-hand. He asked me to email him which I did. (Will post info when it comes.)

Of note, the info above does not jibe with the filing from Feb 28, 2011:

I will follow-up on the discrepancy when I get the official share structure quote.


In other realms, the company is offering direct purchase of restricted shares at 30% below current market price. There is a $10,000 minimum investment and the shares are restricted for 6 months.

BOOSJIM, are these the restricted shares you have mentioned?

Tom said they had a lot of interest in these restricted shares, and said the offer is open to anyone interested, and that it would be great for me to post the offer here.


When I asked about the sell-off, George said an initial shareholder is "shorting the stock out" (direct quote). I confirmed that this seller is someone who had an initial stake in the company and is selling those shares, not an actual shorter borrowing shares to sell.

So this may explain the confusion on this board between company being shorted and Detailman's info about the seller.

ie: It seems George doesn't understand what shorting is, and used the term incorrectly to refer to the seller dumping on the open market, driving the price down.

For ref, George was very eager to discuss the ongoing business growth and history of the company. He struck me as a publicist who may not understand the intricacies of stock market trading, thus the terminology disconnect.
