Yes, conventional power plants will also require a means to level the loads on the electric power grid. Hopefully the VRB will be the dominate system to help in that respect.

Also the recent spate of earthquakes, especially yesterday's 9.2 Magnitude Japanese Quake will put further demand on Vanadium as a structural steel strengthener.
