Re: Travel in Texas-- If you make it to Flatonia, check out Joel's BBQ. Best beef jerky in the world. You can also stop at Buc-ees at various points... the more rural, the better the Buc-ees. Wish they'd go public.

BTW, I'm delighted they got rid of the cameras in Harris County, and you should always take it extra slow in Bastrop.
