The NOC and Dr.Ghanem are completely separate than aligned with Gaddafi and his regime. He has no political interests or ties, which was key for him in taking the job as head of the NOC. The NOC is made up of many, including many who were in power before Gaddafi took over 40 years ago! Oil is where most of their monies come from, NO ONE will interfere with that. Not Gadaffi, Nor the people. In Fact Dr.Ghanem has put alot of programs in place for poor people along with Gaddafi with the oil profits they have been reaping. Does that mean and overthrow wont happen? No, as Anything is possible as Egypt is a good example. Business dealings wont get hurt by this, maybe delay but so far banks and schools and business as usual is going on in Libya while these protests are taking place!
