LawyerLong...I applaud your intense support of the company moving forward as much as I despise the sardonic comments of the MurrayHills of this world.
I also actively support the company moving forward. However,at what point do we begin to separate the "company" from the "management"??
It angers me to no end that our management has surely known about this PARADE situation for several months now and apparently has been totally unprepared. I will be very very pleased(and pleasantly surprised) if we find out otherwise over the next several weeks.
HOWEVER......
Why else would they wait until well after the bell to send out a PR on the Parade article??
Why else would they have waited for Friday night(knowing many readers get their Sunday paper on Saturday) to begin their initial web posting/gathering of e-mail addresses for those responding to the PARADE article and interested in purchasing the O1000 "sometime in the future."??
Why else would they still have it out there to shareholders that they only have 1000 units available for sale??
It's the same sloppy management that brought us the MPX/MXP fiasco at the much hyped Olympic Gold event.(another squandered opportunity)
I'm sorry, but these guys are guilty until proven innocent in my book. I can get excited about the technology and the patents, but I'd trade these stumblebums in for a fresh management team at the drop of a hat.
I was as happy as anyone to see our little O 1000 in PARADE,but if management was/is totally prepared to take 100% advantage of PARADE's immediate impact, then none of us should need to be pretending that we're happy enough waiting around for 2005 to happen.
Suddenly using the article to try to "close an OEM deal" or using it to "get Digitalway to pony up" only goes to show how uncompelling their initial efforts were prior to the article's arrival.(and how clueless they were about the PARADE timing)
Here's hoping I'll be eating mounds of smelly crow pie this Christmas.JMHOBWTFDIK
