You don't have to "work" on it... I downloaded an Excel file from the internet, the author was Mr. XX... I op[ened the file, didn't change anything and went directly to PRINT, and saved it as a PDF file. The new PDF file has my name as the author. I use Mac, the Excel file was a Windows version. It doesn't really matter. I was the author of the PDF file.
