AMR/American Airlines, The problem with this company is they are totally top heavy. The employees gave back 30% in pay and benefits. Southwest Airlines is making a profit. Southwest has a 41%/59% labor /non labor. American Airlines is 35%/65%. So what's the answer for AA ? It's not labor!! It's guaranteed pensions and several million dollar bonuses to management so they won't leave. Let them go , they almost sunk the number 1 airline. who needs them. AMR owns so much property and other things in Dallas they can divest in. The FAT goes on and on at AA/AMR. Cut the FAT and all the useless management. Let them all get a job at ENRON !!!
