HaikuLeaks -- The New Way to Read Your WikiLeaks
Bored of the day to day releases on WikiLeaks? Wish that Cablegate was a bit more... artsy? Never fear, NewsFeed is here to help. And we give you ... HaikuLeaks.

HaikuLeaks is pretty much exactly what it says on the box: the leaked cables in haiku form. They use the data-mining hack codes provided by Haikufinder (which finds sentences within the page which could conform to the 5-7-5 syllable form and are thus ripe for haikuing), to find haikus in our favorite WikiLeaks. So far, HaikuLeaks has found 65 haikus in 1830 cables.

(See pictures of inside the WikiLeaks bunker.)

Here are a short selection of them:

Note: Gilead has not
yet filed a planned judicial
appeal in Brazil.

King Hamad flatly
stated that Bahrain is not
happy with Qatar.

He added that there
should be 'no blank checks, no checks
at all,' for Hamas.

(U) Liberation
is moderately left-wing
and pro-socialist.

(See TIME's top 10 leaks.)

Although they are not technically proper haikus, as they neither reference the season nor have a twist in one of the lines' final syllables, it never ceases to amaze what the Internet can produce.
