it is important because deals to develope drugs like this sanofli and MMRF deal USUALLY include 10s of millions in upfront payments
plus several million more when "milestones" like clinical trial completions or FDA filings occur PLUS royalities on sales....the announcement of say a $10 million upfront payment whould solidify MMRFs balance sheet and CERTAINLY boost the SP
