Yo Dock....This gets confusing, separating the news from the hype....

I see this all the time...some (supposedly) new innovation that takes front stage,
while (conveniently ?) bypassing some important facts at the same time.
This article for instance, infurs to be first of its kind....
yet, have a look at this other article that I saved from a couple of years ago...
These other guys claim to have a leg-up by capturing the heat &
sending it to their HVAC system....pretty much, the same difference.
Could easily be used either way.

Its really hard at getting to the truth in a world full of BS.....but that's JMO.

Having said all that, I think this excess heat a grossly over-looked resource...
& a negative factor for PV efficiency at the same time...
heat is the enemy to semi-conductors.
Utilizing passive resources like this, only makes sense...2 birds, one stone.
For that matter, the thermo-voltaic capabilities of QD's could play a role here also.
Who knows, maybe some hybrid set-up like that is what QTMM is working-on...works4me.
