2bit.....certainly it was not I who was ever suggesting you take a hike....I assume you mean someone else.

Of course, you should short the market if that is what your analysis indicates. A sincere wish for good luck...you may well have identified a market turn..and if so...you should feel very good about your analysis.

My general comment was focused on the innummerable calls for tops, and crashes, that populate the message boards almost constantly.

I think everyone realizes that the market will move up and down..and that on occasion the down move will be sharp enough to be called a "crash"...and on occasion there will be a sustained up move strong enough to be called a bull market.

You have called a crash..and although you did not predict a time frame..you apporently believe it is imminent....perhaps so..forgive me if I don't short what is still an upward trending market.

Good luck..and maybe you are on to something...
