Yes, I suspect that if the tox studies prove out, the next step will be a small clinical trial somewhere in Africa. He would only need permission from the government for that.

As a follow-up from an earlier discussion, the ligands and nanomicelles separately do not fit the definition of a drug. Only once the two are mixed to form the Nanoviricide does it come under FDA purview. Before that they are still only chemicals, even though the ligands alone are currently under use in some clinical trials.

So, should be no hangups shipping out of country.
