The whole MM point is this. The free market should be driving the direction of the price, not the MM's. When the going market price is established (say several consecutive buys at $ 1.00) the next MM posted price should not be less than the established market price unless there is downward market pressure (sells). When the price drops in the abscence of this pressure that is called price manipulation. The selling in I3 is light, the shorting is moderate, and the real market pressure is from the MM's playing cut throat with each other to play the spread. If this stock wasn't an FDA play, I would be out waiting for a higher volume up day. This stock is due to explode to the upside again soon. Watch level 2.
