This looks very promising- PPSI: Pioneer Power Solutions

You guys might want to check out PPSI, Pioneer Power Solutions. They are a manufacturer of industrial transformers and commercial electrical equipment that is now entering the wind energy market with their June 2010 acquisition of one of the few independent wind turbine manufacturers in North America.

This looks like a very stable company with a 90 year operating history through it's acquired subsidiaries, and just went public late last year. Customers include Siemens, Georgia Power, United States Steel.

Metrics are good: 25-30% gross margins, .22/share earnings(ttm) on $42M in sales for the same period. Bidding $2/share. It's currently a thin trader due to their short time as a publicly traded company, but I think that will change as they enter the wind power market and gain more exposure through road shows, etc.

Their new wind energy segment has already installed multiple projects and have $15M in outstanding orders.

Here is a video of the installation of the giant turbine blades in Postsmith RI- this is a very cool video. These things are HUGE.

I'm also told by someone whose opinion I trust that the CEO is as good as they come.

This one is definitely worth doing more research on IMO.
