Newt Gingrich was branded as "irrelevant" after his "Contract with America" disintegrated before our very eyes. This was proven when the GOP lost a chance to gain a presence within the Oval Office following Clinton's huge win in 1996.

Today he is just as irrelevant. Yet he moves and talks with the same sort of arrogant, misguided swagger as he did before, believing he has the same power he did when he was Speaker of the House.

In reality, he is a semi-forgotten man scrounging for attention (via this "comeback" campaign). This is just another example of how broken, how obsolete, and how misplaced the GOP has become over the past two dozen years....
