Corky It depends on how much power they can get with the cooler running EPA engine. I suspect it won't affect the more power needed applications like big trucks and what ever needs lots of torque. The harder you work a diesel -- the hotter she gets on turbo charged non inter cooled. Intercooling lets them run somewhat cooler. Maybe there is an engineer on this board. I'm just a dumb farmer - welder.
