For all we know Cotton Absorbent might just be getting the orders for spills. As far as I know MOP's name hasn't been seen on any of the boom product out there and the lack of media exposure just might have these oil companies thinking that our competitors cotton absorbent boom is looking like a better deal. It absorbs slightly less than MOP and it's cheaper MOP.
If everyone is forgetting about the gulf spill, these oil companies may not give a damn about whether it's made of vegetable fiber or cotton, much less if they throw it into a land fill.
If they used dispersant out there, then who cares if reusable cotton absorbent is used and just throw it into a landfill when their done with, instead of renting a machine for thousands of dollars for use with MOP.
We need transparency from this company and will hold them accountable for their inaction or lack of reporting. We have been in the dark too long and dumping shares is going to continue until they come clean with MOP.
All IMO
