Consolidation
Whenever the DMI and ADX are following each other it means Consolidation. You then need to watch and see which DMI takes over the trend (ADX). In this case we have the DMI- with a weak ADX (trend). The Change Of Trend signal to watch for here would be the DMI+ moving back Above the DMI-. The two DMIs crossing each other usually signal a change of trend. So far in this case the Negative trend is Winning. If the DMIs and ADX continue to trade sideways or in the same direction that would be a sign of further consolidation. Just as we watch for whether Support or Resistance is Winning it is important to see whether the DMI- or DMI+ is Winning and how strong the ADX (trend) is of the controlling DMI :^)
