surprise, surprise, SPX Commercials (reg. contract) covered about 17,000 short positions this week to be -38,000 contracts net short, down from -55,000 contracts net short last week.

NDX (reg. contract) Commercial show no change, i.e. holding steady at -17,000 contracts net short for 4 weeks in a row now.
