I don't know why you're taking this so personally. We are trying to tell you something important that could affect this thread in a big way, and you are only eager to either pass this off to Matt, or give up your job as moderator. Does it really have to come to extremes? All I want is a thread with a lot of technical people, and no authority figure breathing down my neck. It looks like I can go to SI and be plagued by flamers and a$$holes, or go here and fear that my next string of posts will be deleted based on the interpretation of trigger happy moderation. Both are a null set to my interests, and I paid a heck of a lot of money for both of these sites.
Sorry, but that's crap. Not your fault personally, but you should be able to do something about it. If you want a solid INTC thread like I do, talk to Matt yourself. You're closer to him than I am, anyway. Also, keep your job as moderator. You'd do a better job than I would, just as long as you can lighten up once in a while. Sheesh.
