I inquired about the topic of the meeting between Cyberport and Polaris. Not sure why he responded about financing. Not a lot of info in this letter but I thought I'd share it anyway. Wonder what's brewing in regard to the Asian/China markets?
Dear Phil
Thank you for your message.
In response to your query, Cyberport does not invest in Companies nor does it co-invest in projects with external companies.
Cyberport is Hong Kong’s Digital Flagship and wholly owned by the HKSAR Government. It is the ideal landing point for North American or European Digital companies seeking to enter the Asian/China markets, and I recently held meetings with a number of companies in this regard. What plans individual companies have is of course up to them.
I trust that this clarifies the situation, but please feel free to contact me on markclift@cyberport.hk
Best Regards,
Mark
