Maximum Dynamics, Inc. Sells First Wireless Terminals For Prepaid Water Vouchers in South Africa
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Jan. 24, 2005--Maximum Dynamics, Inc. (OTCBB: MXDY), an international projects management and back office services company with subsidiaries focused on mobile logistics, mobile/virtual commerce and other technology solutions, announced today that it has sold the first wireless (mobile) handheld terminals for the dispensing of prepaid water vouchers in South Africa. The sale is valued at US$17,000 and was concluded shortly before Christmas last year.

The terminals will be the first to be used in a unique model to allow mobile vendors to dispense vouchers for a 30,000 unit housing complex within the Johannesburg Metro City. The handheld devices are technologically advanced and use cutting edge communication technologies to provide an efficient and cost effective solution for the vending of these vouchers in areas where little or no commercial infrastructure exists.

Maximum expects demand for such mobile terminals to increase strongly during the next 18 months as more and more credit cards in Africa become EMV-compliant, of which a large component is requiring PIN numbers for the execution of any transaction. The anticipated result is that the restaurant and hospitality industry, especially focused around the strong tourism industry in Africa, will require such terminals. The EMV-requirement is applicable to all new credit cards issued in South Africa after 1 January 2005, which means the demand is expected to slowly grow into a crescendo, as the market is penetrated with smart credit and debit cards demanding PIN numbers.

"Maximum Dynamics is ideally placed to fulfill this expected demand as it distributes a range of high quality, but competitively priced mobile terminals," said Eric Majors, CEO of Maximum Dynamics. "While this is a small order, it is important for two reasons. First, the order is the first for mobile terminals in an underserved area in South Africa. Secondly, this is the first time we have seen mobile terminals utilized for pre-paid water vouchers in South Africa. As a result, I believe this is the kind of penetration that we can start to expect over the ensuing months and years as we take our unique products and offerings to the market. We now have excellent relationships with some of the world's most reputable manufacturers of mobile and desktop credit card terminals. Equally important, we are now able to look after maintenance and support for orders like these," he added.

Maximum has developed its own solutions and secured partnerships that allow it to supply a range of terminals, provide multiple applications on one terminal, and offer the back-end systems needed for transaction processing, prepaid voucher services, loyalty program management and reporting.
