Like Lowe's would buy 20,000 inserts that they would have to replace quickly because of lack of durability. They are wood.



I don't really care what they are made of but that is one really funny statement right there. If you take a piece of plastic and a piece of wood and put them in a landfill which is going to decompose first? Come back a hundred years later and the wood will be dust and the plastic will be still plastic. It is not like these inserts get a ton of abuse to test their durability when they are sitting in the store.
