from teamster site about CC

Did anybody listen?
I did. This is my take and it is only my take and the way I understood what i heard. Johnson pretty much ended as saying that he thinks YRC is gonna pull through this or else the IBT would not be spending this much time on it, which is good news to me.
He says that he expects that YRC will be contributing to the pensions in "some form, hopeful full rate but nothing is guaranteed type language by January.

The contract is not open and they are not negotiating it.
There are 2 committees looking at ways that we can get through all this and help YRC to pull through.
At least one of the committees is "looking at work rules" and later he said "Regional work rules" which could maybe help the company..unifying? Or something (anybody here this right?).....

Otherwise they said that the Teamster choice for board member was officially seated today and she will sit in at the board meetings starting now.

And they said something about the stock options plan was approved. If strike price is reached you will be able to exercise your options.
Somehow they are helping with ideas with YRC on handling and shipping and marketing to help them become stronger.

Something was also said along the lines of that they are monitoring and making sure we get the freight back from YRC logistics or something along those lines.

Hoffa said he does not think that YRC will go under by contributing to the pension plans. Somebody else at some point in the meeting it was said at least once that hopefully at full rate but it seems (to me) they will at "some rate".

Gordon Sweeton said that we should all work together and stay unified to preserve our jobs and benefits.

They are not negotiating the contract Nationally or supplements.

Something else was said by Ian Gold that something happens to the shares in August, something like the amount of them gets reduced or something..But I did not hear this part too good. My bulldogs were barking...

There are 2 committees working on this "getting YRC strong enough to enter the pensions" thing. They are made up of these people:

(hopefully I get their names and locals or whatever right):

Johnson
Sweeton
Kamack?
Barton
McCafferty trustee for 707 pension i think
Laughlin trustee of New England pension i think
Ernie Soul (Sole?)
Bryant
Pathenroth (that's a tough one to spell by ear)
and attorney Jim McCall.

I spelled all of those by ear and am just a dockworker/driver not a newspaper reporter...but this is the way I heard it..no guarantees that I heard it all right.
