Gulf Breeze, FL on "High Alert"! MOP to the rescue!!

06/23/10. There seems to be a large amount of oil outside the Pensacola Pass, we expect the City to be on high alert for the next 72 hours. The City is constantly monitoring and evaluating tides, winds and the prospect for impact. The bayous will be closed starting around 8:00 am, June 24th and will remain closed until to threat of oil passes.

Santa Rosa County Emergency Operations has asked that you please report any sighting of oil to BP at (866) 448- 5816.
