I read it quite differently.

Ericy seemed to be saying that only a NY court can enforce the subpoena, because that's where the arb. panel is sitting.
They cited several past cases, to back up their contention.

They also don't like being embroiled in an arb., where they're not a party.

I got the impression that, if NOK goes to a NY court, they'll get what they want.
