JIM CARLSON, Director of Marketing for Hewlett-Packard Company's Intel Processor Family (IPF)-based systems, is responsible for coordinating and directing Itanium-related marketing activities and product strategies across HP's Computer Systems organization. He also directs plans for helping resellers, ISVs, and users transition to Itanium systems.

JERRY HUCK led architectural work on the Itanium processor family specification as Chief Architect for HP's Application Development Operation, Software & Solutions Organization, Computing Systems. He is now focused on making HP-UX the Itanium's application platform of choice.
